If you want to build better, usable and successful software: observe people using it.

You don’t need a plan, or a script, or a schedule.

Right now, today, you need to find someone who isn’t on your project team, sit them down and observe them using your software.

  • Couldn't agree more, Andy. I've just conducted my first usability test today and it was a real eye opener. So many things that I just assumed were obvious were anything but.
