Shame on The Drum Marketing Awards and Mail-Interactive. For weeks now I’ve been receiving unsolicited emails from them.

As if the SPAM itself wasn’t already aggravating enough the frustration is doubly compounded by them a) not including an unsubscribe link and b) setting their reply-to address to no-reply@mail-interactive.co.uk.

This blatant and inexcusable disregard of the simplest email marketing best practice has resulted in a really bad user experience for me. Now I have no choice but to mark the message as SPAM and they’ll have to suffer the resulting negative impact on the reputation of the mail server.

Update: At last The Drum and Mail-Interactive are including an unsubscribe link on their Marketing Awards emails. Thanks.
